Will They Reminisce...

A while ago when I started this blog the original intent was to filter out my production to those who were interested. Since then It's kind of turned into a general intrest blog more so then I'd planned. Well..In the VERY near future I plan on Uploading alot of my older production just show the extent of where I've developed and other things I've choose to leave behind. These days Im working with an entirely different set of ears then most of you would ever expect from me. WHAT?!? I wasn't always nice with it...CONFESSION: I WAS NOT A NATURAL. Contrary to very popular belief lol. Back in 2004 I really began to see the true extent of what I was capable of....things were so much simpler then...ahhh.I was 18 and working out the back room of my grandparents crib in Fort Worth. As primitive as my set up was I still cranked out some pretty noticeable joints. I started off working on a small Hp with Like 1gb of ram (Running Windows Me #Fail). I eventually Upgraded to XP but that was way later in the process. Months and months passed that kept me very, very, very limited in the amount of sounds I could add to a track. I think I could only add 6 w/o the cpu bugging out. Yall that know anything about FL Studio now exactly what I mean when I speak of the "crackle". Thats not the Kicker tho..lol..the craziest element to this entire set up was the Speakers (At this time I had No idea what monitors were). The speakers I had were those wood grain 3ft surround sound joints that every body mama thought was the lick. I laugh as I think about it but I got some of the best "Gritty" mixes off of those you can find. Does that make since...A good gritty mix?
